Become A Member

Are you interested in joining Louisiana's Premier Mopar Club, the Southern Louisiana Mopar Club? Are you ready to have a great time and be a part of some of the most knowledgeable Mopar guys around? If you are, and you want to see what it takes to be a part of our unique group, please keep reading. As a club, we distinguish ourselves from other clubs in that we do not have any mandatory club fees, nor do any members have to have any amount of modifications (performance or cosmetic) to their vehicles.

There is only one main requirement to become a member and to maintain membership in the SOLA Mopar Club; members must participate in club functions (meets) and/or be an active participant on our Yahoo forum. There is a word document below; this is our online application for membership. After filling out this application, attaching it, and e-mailing it to our webmaster, you will automatically get invited to join the Yahoo club forum via an e-mail invitation from our Club President. If a potential member doesn't already have a Yahoo account, one will have to be created. This is a really easy, free, and straightforward process through Yahoo. After receiving the invitation from the President, you can then join the Yahoo SOLA Mopar Club forum. As a club, this is the way we stay in contact and converse with each other, since people are spread out throughout Louisiana.

As long as members check in and stay active at minimum once or twice a month, then they're still considered members. However, if a member stays inactive for a period exceeding 30 days, and has no legitimate reason for this, he/she will be forced out of the club. We do understand and accept that people have job, family, and life constraints, and we do make exceptions for those members that let us know things like this ahead of time. Again, all that we ask is for consistent participation, communication, and dedication to our club.
