This club was put together by a few Dodge Dakota owners looking to meet and greet other Dakota owners with interest in making their trucks look, perform, and sound better. The club was started in late 2004 as The Southern Louisiana Dakota Club (SoLa Dakota Club). Since then it has expanded to over 20 members from Southwest, La to Mississippi. The Club also expanded in August of 2005 to begin accepting all Mopars. Including a change in the name of the club to become what is today, The SoLa Mopar Club. All members are to be living in or near Louisiana and must own a Mopar Vehicle of any year.
